Taken at the foot of the steps leading to Whitby Abbey as the light was fading.  There are 199 steps that take you up to the Abbey.  It's definitely  worth the effort for those that are able - not only to pause and gaze at the Abbey but also for the fabulous views over Whitby and out to sea.
As the sun begins to set, a slightly more spooky atmosphere descends and the haunting lines from Dracual take on more relevance...
 
This print is unmounted as there is a mount effect as part of the print.  Comes in a cellophane bag with cardboard protection.
